i haven't updated here in months... since october...

yes, i realize that it is now february.

i haven't had the passion to do so.

i don't do things if i don't have passion.

i still hate dA version 5.0 and that's probably a big reason i've been so absent on here. i miss alot of talented people that have left this community. it makes me sad.

i'd like to start submitting all the art i'm doing with my major cuz i have some really neat stuff. i don't feel like taking pictures and scanning it all in... seems really tedious. college is making me lazy or just burnt out w/ art.

i wish i had the time to do art for me again... and i wasn't always so bogged down w/ studio work + stuff for design.

but other than all that... life is pretty great.
i am absolutely completely in love w/ bryan. he makes my life so wonderful and i am very very happy. we're almost to the 1 year mark... which is hard to believe but we've come a long way in the past year.

i haven't written a journal in a really long time.

i can't get motivated to. there's so much to say but it's all so personal.

a lot of the my favorite artists on here have left the community. it is rather sad.

had an art history midterm today. went pretty well i do believe.

bryan is still the love of my life. everyday we get stronger and i love it.

lots of hmwk... the room is a mess of scattered art projects. need to get on that. i like college a lot though... so much > than high school.

i'm going to the renn fest on saturday w/ bry and his family. i'm psyched about that.

i miss tracy.

i don't think a song has ever meant so much to me before. i wish i could say everything that i want to on here. there's so much to say. so instead, i leave you lyrics that probably mean nothing to most of you, but mean everything to me.

i really truly couldn't be much happier.... well minus all of the anoying school work that keeps me busy but i live for our time together on the weekends. life is beautiful. just like that smile he graces me with. hopefully all is well with you guys!

yesterday was my last day of working at the lake for the summer. this song reminded me of my feelings about everything right now. when i was leaving the lake and i literally drove past the lifeguard stand, my mind was flooded with memories, good and bad, of this summer. work and the smell of burgers, sand and suntan lotion, long cool nights with bryan sharing some of the most wonderful moments of my entire life, and closing a chapter in my life. like the song says "i was here, but now i'm gone."

it feels like summer flew by and ended before it began. now i'm off in college... which i really am enjoying the freedom that comes with it, but it was also good to think about this song and just remember everything that happened this summer. many of you fellow dA users going off to college, i'm sure a lot of you can relate to this. well i hope you all enjoy the rest of your weeks!
